- The person must attach three passport size photographs on the application form. The photo must have a white background. The picture must show eighty percent of the face. Size of the photograph must be six by six cms. It means pixels must be minimum 600 by 600.

- The applicant must attach the commercial license of the company of the UAE
- With the documents of the residency visa applicant has to submit the application fee
- Ministry of Labor in the UAE issues an entry visa to the person. So, attach the entry permit to obtain the residency visa.
- UAE residency visa also requires the health certificate of the applicant issued by the authorized hospital.
Medical Requirements
To get the residency visa of the UAE, the applicant must have sound health, and he must be medically fit. The applicant is required to undergo the medical tests. The GDRFA accepts only the tests done in the authorized hospitals of the UAE government.
If the person has conducted all the medical tests from the native country, then these tests are not acceptable.
The medical tests must include the:
- X-ray of the chest
- Blood group tests
- The person must be HIV negative.
- The person must not suffer from Hepatitis, leprosy, and TB.
- If the person doesn’t fulfill any of the conditions as mentioned above, then the visa application will be rejected. If the person is in the UAE, then immediate deportation of the person will occur.

- The employment contract of the applicant. A person must attach the three copies of the employment contract. The purpose of three prints is that one copy is for the Ministry of Labor, the second copy is for the employee, and the last copy is for the employer
- A valid license of the company which invites the applicant by offering a job in the UAE
The process of the employment and the entry visa of the UAE
- Firstly, the person gets the consent from the Ministry of Labor. If the applicant has applied for the free zone, then the applicant will get the entry permit before entering in the Emirates. The Ministry of Labor is very professional in the job of granting the entry and work permits. If there is someone who is unemployed in the UAE and he/she can qualify for the relevant job (in the case when there is some sponsor company which is inviting you to the UAE), then the ministry will first give a chance to that person. If you qualify, then you will get the entry permit as well as the employment permit.
- When the ministry of labor approves your application, then you will surely get the entry visa. Now, you can enter in the UAE and after this, you will become eligible to apply for the work visa and can fulfill your dreams but, the entry visa which is granted by the Ministry of Labor is only valid for two months.
- So, go to UAE and apply for the work permit immediately. You can live in the UAE for one month. However, upon an emergency, you can extend the visa because there is a facility to extend your entry visa two times.
- When the applicant reaches the UAE, the next step is obtaining of the employment visa. The applicant should have the labor card. The applicant will be issued an ID card. This ID card is for free zone employment. The applicant will have a period of 2 months to fulfill the requirements of the work visa and get it. After the completion of the period, there will be complexities as the person will have to apply for the extended visa of residency. So, get your work done as early as you can.
- The person will get the ID card and the work card which is referred to as the labor card. Both are usually authentic for two years. After two years the employer has to renew the labor card and the ID card.
- The applicant is now required to submit the form that he/she has obtained from the typing center. The form is filed in the ID service center UAE . in that office the applicant will also require the official entry permit and the original passport. So, make sure you have all the documents.
- Now, it is the stage for the application of the residency visa. The person can’t work in the UAE unless he/she doesn’t have the residency visa. It is the basic requirement. After the application of the entry visa, the person undergoes the medical tests. These tests are done to ensure that the applicant is not suffering from severe ailment like hepatitis or AIDS. The applicant submits the documents and the medical reports to the UAE embassy office in the native country.
